Kost Castle
Kost Castle is one of the most preserved gothic castles in the Czech Republic and its stormy history can be traced back to the 14th century. It is located 80 km north of Prague in the region called the Czech Paradise due to the beauty of its nature and landscape. Kost castle is dominated by the angular White Tower, which is five storeys high.

Nowadays, the castle is one of the major tourist attractions in the region, mainly thanks to its unique atmosphere and due to fascinating exposition of authentic weapons and lifestyle in the middle ages. Visitors can enjoy the magical atmosphere of the surrounding with picturesque sandstone rocks, forests and lakes. The castle offers cultural visits and other attractions such as medieval tournaments.

The House of Professed (Malostranský palace) was built by Jesuits during the 17th century on the main square of Prague Lesser Town. A gem of Prague Baroque architecture, St Nicholas Church, was joined to the House in the 18th century by architects Kilián and Kryštof Dienzenhofer, the leading exponents of the Czech Baroque style. Later on, the palace passed to Charles University. Nowadays, Malostranský Palace is the seat of the School of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. The former refectory with beautiful ceiling paintings, which was reopen after the extensive restorations in 2006, is an ideal setting for all occasions.
